UPDATE ON CITY WALK BHAM PROJECT MILESTONES
- Block A – playground equipment installed on western end of Block A near 15th St.
- Block A – top soil and planting mix in; will begin to install synthetic turf week of 2/7
- Block B – food truck aisle partially constructed off 16th St.
- Block B – shotcrete being placed in the bottom of the skate park bowl
- Block B – pump track 75% complete
- Block B – 11,000 sq ft roller rink concrete complete; perimeter fence being installed around roller rink
- Block B – irrigation being completed; plantings, including magnolias are going in
- Block C – labyrinth pavers installed
- Block D – concrete surface around water fountains complete; paver installation next
- Block D – roof on visitors center and restroom adjacent to BJCC complete; decorative concrete around stations progressing
- Block E – grading and prep work beginning
- Block F – concrete flat work being installed
- Block G – 23rd-24th St pickleball court installation underway (north of 9th Ave by Uptown parking lot)
- Block G – perimeter curbs being completed
- Block G – preparation for dog park ongoing; dog park fence installation and concrete flat work being completed
- Block G – southern end small restroom station walls poured; structural steel being installed
- Block H – concrete flat work and excavation for pond ongoing
- Block H – large station walls are poured and structural steel installation ongoing
- Block H – prep for underway for playground equipment
- 9th Ave between 19th and RAJ remains closed for stamped concrete installation and trench drain installation
- Lighting remains in test mode as troubleshooting is being conducted. Access is limited due to the presence of construction equipment.
