About

Adjacent to City Walk Skate Park is an 11,000 square foot roller skating rink. The rink is open skate unless reserved by a group or for a special event. Bring your own skates (sorry, no rentals available) and enjoy skating in a beautiful outdoor setting.

Our roller skating rink is now managed by Action Park Alliance. APA oversees both daily operations as well as the scheduling and contracting of all events. Feel free to reach out to them during business hours at 205-370-0337.

Rules & Regulations

  • Operating Hours: M-F 12 PM to 10 PM/ S-S 9 AM – 10 PM
  • Be courteous to other users at all times
  • The skating rink is a non-supervised use-at-your-own risk facility
  • Spectators must remain outside the rink
  • All participants are required to wear proper attire and safety gear
  • No pets inside the rink
  • No bicycles or motorized vehicles of any kind inside the rink
  • Skate with the flow of those utilizing the rink. DO NOT at any time skate ACROSS the rink for passage from one side to the other. The direction of skating is to skate around the rink.
  • Skateboards should not utilize the roller rink for ‘street’ or flat skating tricks or practice. There is a skate park for those activities.
  • Children under the age of 12 should be supervised by an adult.
  • Parents, please monitor your children at all times
  • No smoking
  • No unauthorized music playing, radios, or broadcasting
  • No firearms or weapons of any kind
  • No selling any kind of goods or services without a permit
  • No alcohol, Drugs, or Tobacco Products of any kind
  • No food, drinks, or other breakable objects inside the rink
  • No glass containers inside the rink
  • Please place all trash in appropriate bins
  • Skateboarding must not interfere with roller skating individuals or activities in the roller skating rink
